Soviet Russia in the World War II

Abstract

Soviet Russia participated in the Second World War as an important actor. However, when their economic, political, military and diplomatic relations are examined before the war, they do not seem ready for war. However, when evaluated in the historical process, a new administration and state structure emerged with there volutionary movements in the state where another understanding was dominant before the Second World War. During the war, both the interstate dialogues in the conditions of that day and Russia's foreign policy expectation and attitude towards it reveal the main reasons for Soviet Russia's entry into the war. On the other hand, the balances that emerged with the start of the war and the fact that Soviet Russia became a target in the following processare of course a historical event that should be carefully considered. The fact that Soviet Russia, as a great power, was a part of the bipolar world order at the end of the war is important in terms of showing how important the Second World War.
