Dr. Yujiro MIYAKE, in this study published in April 1918, generally made predictions on the possible consequences of the First World War. Miyake, who made evaluations on how these scenarios might affect the future of Asia in particular, said that Britain would seriously increase its influence in the region as a result of the victory of the Allied Powers. And in case the Central Powers win; Suez Canal and Egypt which will be very important for Germany to reach the aforementioned region will be a problem between Germany and Turkey and thus for Turkey both consequences of the war will be bad. Miyake managed to predict the actual outcome of the war with a perspective from within the period and so his forecasts about the unrealized outcome of the War, seem remarkable.
