Examining Teachers' Thoughts on Family Belonging

The survey model, which is a quantitative research model, was used in this study, which was conducted to examine the thoughts of teachers about family belonging. The universe of the research is the teachers working in the schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the province of Malatya. The sample of the research is 270 teachers who voluntarily participated in the research in the universe. The family belonging scale was used as a data collection tool in the study. SPSS 24.0 statistical data analysis program was used to analyze the research data. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the age and gender variables have an effect on the sense of family belonging, and the thoughts of family belonging intensify with the lack of age, and in the event of a disaster such as an earthquake, the ties of family members to each other and the feeling of family belonging intensify due to the fear of being together and losing their relatives
